What's in a name?Loading...
by Denise KrohnTip for getting to know your students
Modify depending on the age level.
To get to know who your students on the first day.
Have them write their name vertically on a sheet of paper
Then let them come up with positive descriptive words for each letter of their name.
Allow them to look up words
All capitals example:
D -delightful
E - energetic
N - noble
I - invincible
S - silly
E - elegant
They will also present their name to the class.
Have them make a name plaque to hang on their desk or wall.
This can be an art project
Could be done in Scratch and animate their name.
