Pro Tip 1: How to access Google Classroom
There are many ways to get to
Google Classroom.
Here are the top three methods for accessing.

Pro Tip 2: Use the Browser Back Arrow to Go Back to Classwork
Classroom automatically sends you back to the Stream tab. Then you have to click Classwork to get back to where you wanted to be. Avoid extra clicks by using the back arrow on the browser.

Pro Tip 3: Always Turn In or
Mark as Done
Your teacher will know you have completed an assignment in Google Classroom once you click Turn In (on an assignment with an attachment) or Mark as Done (on any other assignment).

You will know you have completed the assignments because the assignment icon will turn gray. If your assignment icons are still colored, you need to complete something.

Pro Tip 4: Use View Your Work
Click View your work on the Classwork page to keep track of work you've done, teacher feedback, grades, and unfinished assignments

Pro Tip 5: Bookmark the Classwork Tab

Bookmarking the Classwork page will take you quickly to the Classwork tab of all of your classes

Pro Tip 6: Customize your Classroom Folders in Google Drive
This is one way to organize your folders and keep your school work separate. Color coding folders helps to visually recognize files and supports building organizational skills essential in a digital platform.

Pro Tip 7: Use Google Apps to Submit Work
Google Classroom integrates other Google apps and services as well. You can use YouTube Video, Google Docs file, Google Sheets file, or even Google Drawing file to submit your assignments.

Pro Tip 8: Use Unsubmit
This is useful in certain situations like if you submit the wrong file accidentally for an assignment. Click on the submitted assignment, and the Unsubmit button will appear to undo the submission.

Pro Tip 9: Send your Teacher Private Comments
You may want to ask your teacher a private question related to an assignment. Google Classroom offers Private comments for this function. That discussion remains private and is not visible to the rest of the class.
