Bearing in mind the sustainable development goals by the United Nations, this project focuses on Human Rights, specifically on two of the goals:
Over a year and a half, students from a Portuguese and a Swedish school worked together in order to deepen their knowledge on these topics and raise the school community’s awareness for the need to adopt positive attitudes in this scope.
Our Schools
Established in 1853, the Rudbeck Gymnasium is a state high school, located in the centre of Örebro, which students attend for three years from the age of sixteen to nineteen.
Like all Swedish high schools, students enrol on a particular programme, each of which is built around a broad range of subjects. At Rudbeck we have a wide range of programmes, including Economics, Business and Administration, The International Baccalaureate, Life Sciences (in collaboration with Örebro University), Sciences, Social Sciences (Humanities), and Nursing. The school also includes the national Swedish high school for the deaf, to which students come from all parts of Sweden.
The school has a very diverse population of approximately 1100 students, which reflects the various socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic groups within Örebro. Our diverse and multicultural community is well represented in our school body.
