Comparing New England with Southern and Middle colonies
The reason for founding New England was to purify the church, but the reason for founding in the Middle colonies was to get freedom of religion for the Quakers. Also, the geography is different from the Southern colonies. There geography in New England is very rocky, has long, cold Winters, and they have tons of whales and fish to hunt on, but the Southern colonies geography is different. It has warm temperatures, plantations, and tons of farming. My last reason is that New England's economy (how people make $) is trading, ship building, and money from lumbering, but the Middle colonies economy is farming, miners, and merchants. These were some reasons what differences between New England and the Middle and Southern colonies.
