Let me teach you all about the axolotl and why the axolotl population is going down, please stay and listen so you know how to spread awareness and stop killing axolotls

Unique Facts
(Axolotl)
Some ways Axolotls are unique are that they have this rare physical trait called “Neoteny” that means the fin, Axolotls were presented the dorsal fin when they were in their baby phase.

Axolotls are way different then salamanders because Axolotls like to make water their permanent home while salamanders like to make land their permanent home. Axolotls are also bigger than salamanders.

From the article Axolotls, Axolotls were named after Xolotl, the Aztec god of fire and lightning, who could take on the form of a salamander. Xolotl was also associated with dogs, and “atl” is the ancient Aztec word for “water” so “axolotl” is sometimes translated as “water dog.” but Axolotls are also called “walking fish.” Axolotls science name is “Ambystoma Mexicanum”
