1. it increases our potential to communicate our ideas
2. it helps us understand ideas of others
3. it helps us succeed in out careers

Definition: connected to or with each other

Definition: organized action by people who are trying to change their country's political system or the way things have been done in the past

Definition: a topic that causes a lot of disagreement or arguments
