Sowash Family Chicago Adventure
To celebrate the new year we took a family trip to Chicago.
We began by making the LOOONG drive from Howell, MI to downtown Chicago.

Our first stop was Winter Wonderfest at Navy Pier. We rode lots of fun rides and got to ice skate on the indoor rink!
Later that night we saw some really cool Christmas lights at the Lincoln Park Zoo.
Our second stop of the day was the Museum of Science and Industry.
We saw the giant Christmas tree, played with a tornado, and saw the model train set.

Ice Skating at Millenium Park
On New Years day we went ice skating at a park in downtown chicago. It wasn't a regular ice rink, it was a ice path the curved around. It was really neat to skate in the middle of the city, surrounded by skyscrapers.
