Did you know that pandas without cubs prefer to be alone? In this book you will learn about pandas.You will learn about their body description,habitat,diet,enemies and hunting.

Pandas have a diet that consists of bamboo. They use their claws to get the bamboo off of the tree. They eat around 26 to 84 pounds of food a day.That is a lot of bamboo to eat!

Pandas are herbivores so they do not hunt other animals.Some animals that hunt pandas are jackals,snow leopards and yellow thouted martens.These animals mostly hunt young pandas. When pandas fight to defend themselves they use their claws and climbing skills.

Pandas have a unique body structure.Pandas are six to four feet tall.Pandas can weigh 150 to 280 lbs. Male pandas are bigger and stronger than female pandas.The color of pandas fur is black and white.

Pandas live in a variety of habitats.They can be found in bamboo forests  in south west china.A bamboo forest is a forest filled with bamboo.In their habitat they need water and bamboo.

As you can see there are many interesting facts to learn about pandas! Learning about their body description,habitat,diet,enemies and hunting has been fascinating!

My name is Emily and I wrote this book because I want people to learn more about pandas.When I am not writing I am enjoying a good book,playing with my cat,and crafting. When I grow up I want to be a teacher or a author. Emily currently lives in cheektowaga and is in Mrs. Vlahoffs class at Northwood Elementary.
