Ms. Lopez's Special Class

Each student sat in the middle and got to share something special. 

"Good morning friends! I am glad to see everyone excited to be in school and learn" said Ms.Lopez with a smile on her face. "This Friday is show and tell and I would like everyone to share or bring something important to class. said Ms. Lopez.

Friday came like a cheetah in the jungle. The students gathered quickly in a circle on the rug.

Fatima is blind but loves cooking and food. She uses her four senses hearing, taste, touch and smell to cook her cultural west African dishes. She feels the texture of the fufu, taste and smells the pepper and listens to the stirring of the fufu. 

Aiden has autism but showed his artistic abilities by drawing a portrait of Tammy in five minutes!

Show and tell was a success. Ms. Lopez has a special class with special abilities.

Danny has Down Syndrome and struggles with reading but can listen to any musical note and imitate the sounds on a piano. 

Ms. Lopez students' were filled with joy and a smile from ear to ear.

The sun was shining through Ms. Lopez's class window. <br>All her students were sitting around the circle time rug, criss cross apple sauce, waiting for Ms. Lopez to speak.

The students in Ms. Lopez's class turned to each other in excitement and started to share ideas on what they will share or bring into the class.

Brianna shared her basketball Paralympic trophies. Brianna showed her friends that she did not need to walk to do a sport she loves.

Sebastian showed his singing skills. Sebastian struggled with words but shined through singing.
