These businesses are important to small towns because they bring tourists to the town. These towns would not get people coming into the town unless the zip line was there. It also bring business to smaller stores in the town

Tillamook Cheese Factory and Izzy’s Buffet

There are a couple of reasons why Tillamook was built were it was. First settlers discovered where Tillamook is now realized that the healthy grass was perfect for raising cattle. Second this spot had tons of water with the ocean and multiple rivers and tons of rain. This spot also had access to lots of other ports so they could ship dairy everywhere. The final reason is were they are they had tons of space to raise cattle and make barns.

Columbia River Maritime Museum First Nations Section

They colonizer’s impacted the First Nations for better or worse. The colonizer’s impacted the First Nations world view severely by saying there is an entire civilization that has progress way more than themselves. One good thing the colonizer’s did was bring more materials such as gun powder and metal tools to the First Nations. But they also brought diseases and invasive species over to the west coast. The white people brought more complexity to the First Nations lives by completely changing the way they live and changing their world view.

Our question was does the number of legs effect a crabs speed. Our criteria was we put each crab on the race track once and saw that more legs do effect speed out of water

One thing i learned on the boat is that water carries electricity and can wreck your boats by eating away at the soft spots.

Hatfield Marine Science Center Visitors Center

There are a couple reasons why there is a tsunami machine in the visitors center. The first reason is that Osu is in a very tsunami prone zone. Second might be that it can warn you on tsunami power.

Fort Stevens was a very cool place with a long history. I learned that fort Stevens was bombed by a Japanese sub in World War Two.

There are a couple of reasons why northwest trek is important. One reason is it provides a safe place for orphaned or injured predators to come and live their lives. Another reason is it is a amazing place for people from all over the world to see these animals in their natural habitat.  Northwest trek provides a place for all sorts of herbivores like bison and elk to live their lives in protection. There are many reasons why it is important to keep it. One is it shows how animal number are decreasing. It also shows how we should be protecting these animals. There are some reasons why northwest trek is important and why it should show as a reminder to be careful with our environment.

I think i would cross the bar. One of the reasons i would is because i might need to. Another if it where to save a ship i would definitely cross to keep the ship from going down. Another reason would be to guide bigger ships in.
