An Indian e-commerce company called IndiaMART InterMESH Ltd offers B2B and customer-to-customer sales services through its online site. In order to connect Indian producers with clients, Dinesh Agarwal and Brijesh Agrawal created the business-to-business portal website IndiaMART.com in 1996.

The channel focuses on giving a platform to Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs), Large Enterprises, as well as Individuals, and has 60% market share of the online B2B Classified sector in India.
Case Analysis (Pre and post-COVID-19) of IndiaMART
INDIAMART BOMS DURING COVID19:
IndiaMART, the largest online B2B marketplace in India, posted outstanding results for the quarter ending in December. Due to a quarter-over-quarter increase of about 7000 paid members, the results exceeded street forecasts.
Deferred revenues will probably give visibility for the following 18 to 20 months.
On the strength of a decreased headcount, a lower variable income, a lower cost of travel, and strict cost control measures, employee costs and other expenses were down by 25% and 31%, respectively, year over year.
We have 120 million registered users on the web platform, and there are close to 70 million products available across 50 different industry sectors. During the lockout, IndiaMART has learnt the true value of the internet, according to Agarwal.

The organic traffic coming to the company's platform is increasing at an exponential rate even in the absence of marketing and advertising costs. Agarwal asserts that IndiaMART receives roughly 50–60 million monthly visits out of the country's 600–700 million internet users.
IndiaMART's main goals include bringing small businesses online, compiling difficult-to-find products, and democratising costs for goods that are sold in wholesale markets in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, and other major cities. Over thousands of pin codes across the country, Tier-3 towns account for over 40% of the company's web traffic. In terms of industry, area, and buyer distribution, there is a significantly greater penetration.
