Spiders get food by either catching the food in a web or jumping out a burrow when they feel something runs over the burrow.

Spiders also get shelter by spinning webs or digging a burrow.

Spiders even get water by barfing on their food and turning into bug soup.

Spiders must live in the correct ecosystem so they can get what they need.

Adaptations for Spiders

Legs, fangs, and hairs are three important physical characteristics of a spider.

Spiders also use fangs to inject venom into its prey.

Spiders even use hairs to touch, taste, smell, see, and walk on sticky webs.

Spiders need all of these adaptations to survive.
