Stegosurus by     Kevin          Addison

A stegosaurus traveled in herds to look for food and protect themselves. They used their tail for defense.

The stegosaurus was 25 feet long and had bony plates on its back and sharp spikes on  its tail.

The stegosaurus is compared to a porcupine. They both had spikes on their backs to keep them safe.

It ate plants and it is a herbivore. It chewed leaves with its bony beak.

It lived 150,000,000 years ago. The stegosaurus had bony armor all the way down its back.
