Made by: Akvilė M-tėMick Harte was here is a novella written by Barbara Park. She was the author of the popular Junie B. Jones children's books. In 1998, "Mick Harte was here" was awarded the annual William Allen White Children's Book Award. She wrote this book more for children, but this book has a deep hidden message. So I think this book is for everyone.
This story begins when Mick's sister Phoebe is talking about all good, funny, bad and sad memories that they had. So Mick was the young boy, which always used bicycle helmet, but when he sew that he won't need it, terrible thing happened. And who ever thought that if you don't use bicycle helmet, you can lose a person. He was a nice boy, mischievous and fun, like everyone. The sister thinks that the problem might have never occurred in the first place if she would have taken his bike home.
The book's fast-paced plot is guaranteed to keep readers absorbed to the very end. This book shows that even perfect families have problem. We can see how the brother and sister live together and how they solve problems. When I read the book everything seemed fine and typical, but when they lost one person of family everything changed.
It was a perfect family... but after Mick death they became strangers... They stopped talking, eating together and spending time as a family...
