STEM project is a 2 years project that will let the students experience real life and take part actively in Global problems. This project will raise awareness about ecology as well as helping students to meet the 21st century. To encourage the students to solve real life problems, we think that Pollution is a good way to support all the four branches of STEM.

The activities of the project were planned to ensure successful results and to reach the aims of the project. All the mobilities had programmes to achieve the goals of the project in order to improve the expected skills and competences. Students had the great opportunity to learn about authentic global problems. Moreover, they felt members of real society and they learned to find concrete solutions to real problems and not to be passive. Students acquired the necessary skills to prepare them for success in the 21st century.

In addition,they were encouraged to solve real problems. So, they realized that pollution is one of the most serious global problems. During the project, it was essential to raise students’ awareness about the problem and to encourage them to think globally but to act globally. The project aims were focused on preparing learners for new technological innovations, developing creativity and improving problem solving skills and teaching basic skills for new jobs of the future society.
Students had the chance to take part in different experiments and to work in cooperation with students of various European countries. Teachers had the opportunity to participate in professional workshops and to create good relationships with other European collegues. During the project, five learning teaching trainings were organized, in Portugal, Italy, Bulgaria, Estonia and Lithuania. Every school contributed with different experiences and different competences of the partner countries.
