My BeeBot Journey

Firstly we used the BlueBots in the same way we did the BeeBots to refresh our memories. We used cards with directions to plan a route and handed it to our partner who then gave the code to the BlueBot.

BlueBots can be used for education in all subjects such as maths and literacy in the same way as the BeeBots. However, BlueBots add an extra element by connecting to the children's devices.

Teachers can use BeeBots to teach their pupils various subjects such as literacy and maths.

Next we experimented with the BlueBots using mats. We choose a farm mat and coded our BlueBot to go to the cows displayed on the mat

BeeBots are a very useful resource in class. Children can create sequences, retell stories, create their own scenarios, etc.

By using BeeBots, children are learning the fundamentals of coding.

We then connected our BlueBot to our phone using Bluetooth. We placed direction tiles in our keypad and pressed go and the BlueBot carried out our code.

Next we used BlueBots, which are BeeBots that can be controlled via Bluetooth from a device.

We used BeeBots in class and directed them where do go using directions such as forwards, backwards, left and right.
