Read the 'Dry Bones' book. Pupils can stand up and point to the <a href="bookcreator://page/pLaMlPSvQqy3I4fYuBvmSg/left">bones</a> on their bodies!

One pupils lays on the floor on a large sheet of paper.

The children then draw around the child. As a group, they then label each part / bones of the body.

Observing... After we brush our teeth what do we notice? Do your teeth feel clean? maybe your breath smells nice?

Can children identify and label the parts of the body? Can children physically point to the body parts on themselves or with a partner? Extension: Children can discuss what these body parts may be used for.

How we can take care of our bodies; washing hands, <a href="bookcreator://page/pLaMlPSvQqy3I4fYuBvmSg/left">eating healthy</a>, exercise etc...

After running around outside, have a sit down. What do you notice about your heart? Do you feel warm/cold? Maybe your cheeks are red!

There are lots of important parts of the body that we can't see. This is because they are hidden away inside our body. They all have important jobs to do and work together to help us stay healthy.

Sing 'Heads, shoulders knees and toes' song. Sing some parts wrong, can the children name it correctly? Play games like... 'point to something you use to walk.'

Give each child a see through bag with a drawn on stomach and 2 crackers. Churn up the crackers, like a stomach would!

Pupils can create their own observations and observe fine details. Pupils can create and test their own hypotheses and present their data.&#160;

Throughout the year groups, pupils progress from completing simple observations to investigating more detailed cause and effect hypotheses and experiments. Pupils progress from describing what they can see happening, to recording this data in appropriate charts, graphs and tables.

Experiment: 1. Sketch ideas for your design, how will the system work to fill up all the cells at the same time? 2. Use the materials listed to construct your circulatory system 3. Check for any leaks and check to see if you need to add any valves to control the flow of 'blood' 4. Pour water into the entry part of your circulatory system and watch how it flows!

Your heart keeps all the blood in your circulatory system flowing. The blood travels through a network of blood vessels to everywhere in your body. <a href="bookcreator://page/ZgjJt_QmS_GYNE2NTK0JAA/left">Digestive system</a>- &nbsp;consists of the parts of the body that work together to turn food&nbsp;and&nbsp;liquids into the building blocks&nbsp;and&nbsp;fuel that the body needs. <a href="bookcreator://page/bEozSsWCSAmlb1XGQivj2w/left">Heart</a>-&nbsp;sends blood around your body. Your&nbsp;heart&nbsp;is sort of like a pump, or two pumps in one. <a href="bookcreator://page/tKMXX76xSky2NNGWZyI68Q/left">Human life cycle</a>- mainly consists of 6&nbsp;stages. They are simply; foetus, baby,&nbsp;child, adolescent, adult and old person/elderly. <a href="bookcreator://page/jcCm-s37SV-6Bo5vcgL3hg/right">Involuntary muscle</a>&nbsp;– muscle controlled without conscious control. Eg. Heart, lungs.
