Mersinli Şehit Ahmet Uludağ Secondary School is coordinating an Erasmus+ project called Geoparks as an Educational Agents. In the project, the partners are from 6 different countries: Spain, Portugal, Greece, Romania, Turkey and Croatia. Geology is a highly unknown part of our culture and for that reason, we intend to make the school community and population aware of what a geopark is, their geopark, its heritage and the need to preserve it as well as offer them the opportunity to know other European ones as possible models of exploitation and preservation.
