Going Coastal 2019

Depoe Bay is known as the smallest navigatable harbor. On March 11, 2011, the port was damaged by a tsunami caused by an earthquake off the coast of japan.

My group and I used and remote control submarine for example. When we’re putting flooties on our R.O.V Robot it was hard, because how our robot  to the other teams’ is quite big and heavy .

Submarine robots helped us found the Titanic!

They have a tsunami machine to show how a tsunami may be made and how it can create energy or how powerful the tsunami is.

You would thing this is such a beautiful place, let’s take some rocks home... that is actually not okay to take rock like the one at Yaquina head, Why? Let me tell you these rock are protected for a reason, they are special volcano rock that are almost perfectly round!

At Northwest Trek we first went to see the eagles. Then we went on the tour car and looked around the trek. After, went to the bigger animals like the bears and the big cats. Then we came around to this cabin with a look out window to one of the foxs’  cage. After, we went to see the smaller animals, they were soooooooo cute! Sadly lastly we went to the gift shop but I didn’t buy any thing

Hatfield Marine Science Center Assemble a Whale

This is a skeleton of a young tooth whale that got watched up at the west coast of Oregon. The baleen whales and the toothed whales have dig differences, baleen whales’ bones are more filled and skull of  them is round out and toothed whales have more of an hollow and oily skeleton its skull is caved in.

I Learned that The Americans didn’t join war till mid world war 2, and they had the batteries since before world war 1. At World War One, the Americans were just focusing on the intruders and protect their country. And finally they joined the war in mid world war 2!

Because, it attracts Tourism people and add up more popularity for the small(er) towns. When the government agreed that the town should be expanded for tourism, they would have a bigger town

I think Tillamook cheese factory was fond in Oregon because most of the farmers that support and supply them have their farm here in Oregon

Animals adapt to their environment by knowing their environment, then as generations go by the animals slowly change their body to adapt to their environment.

Cannon Beach is most well known for hay stack Rock. It is sometimes called the largest intertidal rock in the world.

The Astoria Column is 110 feet tall and is covered on the outside by a  historical event that depicts historical Americans events

Me and my group used this criteria so we can do the process of putting the crab onto the race track and putting in into the other bucket. This design worked very well and many other group used it too, we toke the crabs out of one bucket and the crabs safely landed into the other bucket.
