March 28, 2020

Today, I went to Wangfujing, a shopping street that’s pretty well known. I and my mom went there a couple of weeks ago, thinking that we can just go there when having a walk. But surprisingly, even then, a lot of shops were open. We didn’t go in though, because Pepper was with us. But today we went there because the coronavirus is getting better in China, and our nannies said that almost all of the shops are open.
Before I went out, I went to pick some clothes to wear, I had been in my PJ’s for such a long time. I first chose a short-sleeved shirt because it’s not that cold these days, then I chose the black pants, because I wanted to wear my pretty brown windbreaker, and I don’t know what else could go with that thing. Another reason is just that that black fits any color, so then it would be easier to pick my sweatshirt. In the end, I wore the light pink hoodie that I just bought and put on a pair of glasses and a ribbon on my hair. Of course, I still had to wear my mask.

So, I and my mom just went into one of the malls that I would always go to and went to the shops that I would also always go to and went to dessert and drink shops. But I just found out that one of the desserts shop I would always go to is closed, and it’s not because of the coronavirus, I think. By the way, something that I bought was a little box of soil and seed things that you plant. There were different kinds, like tomatoes, cucumbers, cactuses… I chose one that plants aloes. I planted it just after I got home. But even those kinds of planting little boxes are hard, I think it’s for beginners. There were so many steps and so many things to be careful of in the instructions, I feel like that it wouldn’t grow properly, or wouldn’t even come out.
Something else that I bought was another blind box doll, It’s the Pucky series. I feel like this is my third favorite doll that I had bought, it’s like an alien combined with candy and ice-cream. But of course, getting to buy it was hard, I know that it’s actually useless and that I already have a lot of them. But there is a lot of people that have hundreds of them, and I’m not exaggerating it, maybe they even have more. Because they have blind box dolls placed on shelves just for those dolls, on the whole wall. But I think I would have to go a long way to get there, so my goal is to just get enough dolls to fill the little table next to my door.

Yesterday Melody came to our house, and we had a sleep over. She’s leaving today, but we still have a couple of hours. In the morning, because Melody normally wakes up early, and we would have more time if we did, so I told her yesterday to wake me up when she wakes up. First, we started to watch a reality tv show that has Melody’s Idol, she would watch this tv show every Sunday morning. I watched it with her, and we ate breakfast, and played with card’s while watching it.
Melody actually wanted to come the day before yesterday, but my mom already invited people to go hiking, and she‘d have to go if she was here yesterday. Because Melody is the kind of person who wants to stay home all day, so we changed the sleepover one day later.
Anyways, after we watched the video, we started to try doing makeup. The last few days I was pretty good at it, and of course we were following steps in the videos online.

After that, we wanted to draw something, in the end we decided to draw on our iPads, because I showed her a super cute bear that I made and the other one half done, So, we started drawing.
She brought her iPad because we wanted to play games on our iPad in the night which we did last night. We didn’t finish our artwork, we just drew for 40 minutes. But there wasn't much time left, so she wanted to do something else. So, then we watched this Chinese comedy movie, and did this thing where we drink water but not to swallow it and try not to laugh. My pants were wet after that. We didn’t finish the movie though, because her mom had to pick her up early, but I think we had played enough, and we still have next time to finish all the things.
