How it all started

The middle colonies started because of religious tolorance. All the people in the middle colonies were free to believe in whatever they wanted to. They did not have to follow other religions under there own will.

If your moving here then your not the only one! There are tons of religions here such as the Presbyterians, Quackers, Anglican, Baptists, Dutch, German, Lutheran, and others. So you can have a family! Also there is a lot of land.

GEOGRAPHY!!!!!

We have SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much land and natural resources, like for fishing and farming. The middle colonies have warm weather in the summer. Its just right for growing crops. The New York harbor is a great spot for shipping and trading goods. Also if you farm you can find a usefull mineral, Iron. Iron is good for trade.

Our Economy offers good jobs in many industries. Farmers grew wheat, corn, vegetables, and your favorite, tobacco! Other colonists became lumbermen, miners, sailors, trappers, and merchants.

Native Americans are our friends!

As you know the middle colonies are friendly to everyone even the Native Americans. We respect them because we came over to there land first. We also trade with the Native Americans. Unlike the other colonies whom go to war with the Native Americans we are the only nice colony.

Three reasons were better than the other colonies are that were friendly with everyone, we have a ton of ways to make money, and that everyone is free to believe in whatever religion the want to.
