How the Jaguar got its print

At the beginning of life, when the world was created, all animals were happy and cheerful but some rude and like to annoy and play pranks on others. Every animal was unique in their own way, some small, some tall and some so bright and colourful. They lived in a tropical, muddy rainforest, loads of animals lived there and every one was friends. One Jaguar, who had three close friends, had orangey yellow fur, black beady eyes and was one of the kindest animals alive.

Early one after noon, Panther, who was the youngest, was definitely the play fullest and probably the stealthiest, went out to find Jaguar. The Jaguar and Panther was best friends, they always went to find Parrot. Parrot was the posh one in the friend group and also the grandest. She (the Parrot) likes to have privacy from others and was certainly the bright and colourful one. Monkey on the other hand, was rude, selfish and loved playing pranks. He had light brown fur and was a chatter box.

Eventually, the Panther and Jaguar found each other and the others and began to play hide and seek.

“why do I always loose!” cried the Jaguar.

“Let’s play another round!” Panther spoke.

As a few rounds went by, Jaguar still got found first. Tumbling along the bolder-strewn path to hide, Jaguar

heard Parrot coming. Jaguar darted into his hiding spot, Parrot felt guilty, she could see Jaguars golden silky tail. She flew to the sharp rock.

“sorry jag, I found you.” Parrot nervously murmured.

Sulking, Jaguar slowly crept out from behind the jagged rock. That’s when they heard monkey.

“HAHAHA!” Monkey cried, sticking his tongue out.

“Monkey don’t be rude!” Yelled Parrot.That’s when arguing began… jaguar

began to get upset and Parrot would not stop shouting at Monkey. Panther got scared and ran away and hid. On Monkeys face began to form a cheeky smile.

“Bye, bye, hehe!” He giggled, as he ran away.

“Just ignore Monkey.” Parrot spoke with anger.

Tears dripped down Jaguar’s face, he ran off far away to the glinting waterfall. Water crashed to the bottom causing foam to be formed. Jaguar went and lay down in the foamy water, the suddenly an idea sprang to mind.

“THAT’S IT!” He exclaimed.

He began to dip his paws in the sloppy mud and started dabbing himself. After he had finished, he went back to his friends and began to show off now that monkey got found first.

heard Parrot coming. Jaguar darted into his hiding spot, Parrot felt guilty, she could see Jaguars golden silky tail. She flew to the sharp rock.

Now all Jaguars have patches on them so from now on they will be able to hide and catch their prey and not get caught.

Jaguar is happy and Monkey doesn't make fun of him any more since his mum found out what he was doing and every time he does some think he gets told off and punished in front of every one.
