the end...or the Beginning of an extraordinary ADVENTURE called ERASMUS...with you!!!

On Monday we had lessons following the flipped classroom methodology: Italian students became the teachers of the Erasmus Partners. We explained them the planets of the solar system and we did a quiz on quizizz about this topic. After that we talked about fractals and we designed a geogebra fractal.

For lunch the foreign students tasted some of our typical meals: pasta with tomatoes and rucola (pasta crudaiola), grain with mushrooms and different appetizers. In the afternoon we visited Rutigliano walking among the streets. We had a tour guided by some students of the 4th B (linguistic course) and we met a whistle maker. For dinner we went to Bistrot06 to eat pasta.

We had lunch at home and met again in the afternoon when we went to Monopoli and Polignano.

On Wednesday we worked with Dante and the students made a quiz and a crossword after the Italian students showed them some images with which we explained them Hell’s structure.&nbsp;

&nbsp;We visited churches, the sea and some wonderful streets.We were in a rush because we needed to leave so that we could go and eat panzerotti at Bacco, in Noicattaro.&nbsp;

They were&nbsp;great and the dinner was really fun, we joked and laughed a lot and we had a great time trying many different kinds of panzerotti.

When our Erasmus Partners coming from Spain, Greece and Poland arrived in Rutigliano on Sunday, we met them in the main square. Firstly we went to the archeological urban museum of our town in order to present the project. Our welfare assessor and our teachers explained us the purpose of this experience and introduced the program of the next days. After that we visited the museum  and then we spent our free time together.

On Thursday we visited the caves of Castellana and we had lunch in the Hotellerie school in Alberobello.

Three students of that school showed us the school’s farm and took us on a walk for the town and in its city centre.&nbsp;

After visiting two churches and some beautiful streets we took an ice cream and relaxed a little bit. At night we hung out togheter for a walk and it was great cause we had a lot of fun and we knew each other better.

The last day was dedicated to the end of our project. In the morning we stayed at school and worked together to create some digital elements regarding the things we experienced and the things we talked about during that week. We worked all morning but the most beautiful and moving part was in the afternoon when we had the Farwell party. During the party we stayed all together, we ate traditional food and each country showed one of its typical dances. After the party we had to say goodbye and facing the fact that that awesome and particular week was over. Even though a week might seem basically nothing it meant a lot for us and we created an extremely special bond. Saying goodbye has been hard but we're keeping in touch with the other students as much as we can and we are extremely grateful for this special opportunity.

On Tuesday our day started at 9.00 o'clock when we left to go to the Planetarium where we saw a show about the universe and its elements. We talked about the Zodiac, the Planets, black holes and many other things that where shown to us in an exstremely interractive way.

After that we had an hour of free time to visit Bari  on our own and to eat; the foreign guys tested focaccia, a typical  food of Bari, for the first time and were crazy of it for they liked it so much.

Soon after eating , we showed the sea and went streight to visit the oldest part of Bari with its churches, monuments and old streets. Once we got back in Rutigliano, we got ready to go out and eat pizza.

There we had a wonderful time and the food was great. but the greatest moment was the one when some of the foreigner students prepared their own pizza.
