One study says that by 2040 travel will involve being surrounded by baggage handlers, biometric chips and pilotless aircraft.

Workbench areas, rotating seats or windows for each passenger in small electric planes are some of the new ideas for the aircraft interiors of the future. This is the future of commercial aviation. At least according to Airbus and if you travel first class. They call it the Airbus Cabin Vision 2030.

Planes will be able to go as fast as 10,500 and as fast as 12,000 metres, in a range called cruising altitude, planes will face less air resistance and can travel faster and consequently consume less fuel.

Transportation of the future. Personal drones, autonomous cars, traffic-free tunnels, shared electric bicycles, capsules that will accelerate up to 1,000 km/h, supersonic airplanes and suborbital flights. The new vehicles promise to free us from traffic jams and waiting times, and will connect the ends of the planet in a few hours.
