I hope you are enjoying our story time online. Pretty soon we will have story time at the library, but until then, let's have fun with story time at home. Are you ready for our "Let's all Clap" song?
Since Spring is here, Let's all clap for Spring, then you can do the song again and say your name, your pet's name, your brother or sister's name or anyone else you may want to clap for.

When I think of Spring, I think of both rainy days and sunny days. I found a fun song for us to do whether it's sunny, rainy, or even snowy! Yep, sometimes we get snow in the Spring.
This song will get us up and moving. Let's go!

Our first story today is, "When Spring Comes," by Kevin Henkes.

In our story today, there are a lot of things that happen before and after. Before Spring comes, there is snow on the ground, the tree branches are bare, and the garden is empty. After Spring comes, the snow melts, the trees start to grow leaves, and the garden begins to grow vegetables and flowers.
Read the story again and see if you can find 3 things that happen before Spring and how they change after Spring comes. See if you can find these same changes outside.
