Dear Miss Melon

i wonder what this letter could be about. i see it was sent from the witch academy, so i hope Sophia is doing okay..

i'm so proud of how far you've come, Sophia. I know that you can do this and become on of the best witches in the program

Anyhow, I had gotten ready for school and waved goodbye to Miss Melon. She was a nice lady and seemed pretty lonely. The school day was such a drag, and as soon as school was over I walked home. As I approached my house, I saw Miss Melon standing at her porch, waiting for me it felt like.

I was hesitant to look at her because she was acting kind of creepy. I kept my head down and started to speed-walk.

I guess she caught on. Immediately, she darted towards me and grabbed me. She then dragged me into her house.

Wait that can't be true! Turn me into a frog.. or something! Then I'll believe you!

As soon as I said that, I was three times shorter, really slimey, and had the urge to eat a bug? Then I knew what had happened. I was a frog! I was so scared and all I was doing was croaking. I tried to communicate but she just laughed.

She turned me back into my normal self and I dashed towards the door. She said something along the lines of "Be there here, or be out of sight. You my friend won't escape tonight". It was really creepy and suddenly I heard the door lock. My heart dropped and I thought I'd be locked in her house forever.

I learned many, many spells. Every day I thought to myself that I used to be a normal girl with a normal life, but that changed for the better.

I had practiced, and practiced, and practiced until I got the highest marks in the class. 

I was so proud of who I had become, and it was all thanks to Miss Melon. Because she had helped me, I wrote her a letter. She deserved it since I hadn't spoke to her in years. I mean, she was the one who had turned me into a witch, so it was only fair that I would thank her.

see, this is a potion. as you may have heard, i am a witch.&#160;

i made this potion especially for you. i've seen you're potential. you have what it takes to become a witch, just like me.

me?! a witch?! i wouldn't even know what to do! and what if everyone found out that I was a witch too?! just like you!

Don't worry, i'll teach you everything. just drink this potion. Mark my words, you will become one of the best witches in the world!

I couldn't control myself and started laughing hysterically. I wondered what she meant and thinking about it made me laugh even more! 

Listen, this may sound crazy... but I'm a witch..

But then, the more I had thought about it, the more it made sense.. The rumors, the weird chants, the creepy house! She WAS a witch!

Wait... No way, no way! you're a.. witch... It all makes sense now...

There she was, Miss Melon. The old woman who had lived across the street from me for as long as I could remember; and the old woman who everybody thought was a witch. I know right? A witch!

When I first heard about it I laughed so hard that my stomach hurt. I mean come on, a witch? Really? I thought they had got to be kidding.

Because of all the buzz going around that she's a witch,  she's gotten angrier, and angrier, to the point that she's embarrassed to leave her house.

It was about 7 o' clock now and I had been sitting down with my head to the wall. Miss Melon had been humming a song that my grandmother always loved. It was called 'Don't Blame It On Susie'. It was personally one of my favorite old songs, considering I don't like them that much. Suddenly, I had heard a glistening sound. Like one of those magical sounds that are in fiction movies. I lifted my head up and saw purple fog coming from what looked like a cauldron. I had already found out she was a witch, but I hadn't expected to see all this other stuff too.

I arose from where I was sitting and Miss Melon turned around.

She went to her kitchen and got a head of garlic. I hated garlic.. the smell, the taste! She was pouring many colored potions into the mixture. Then she called her pet's name.

A small crow emerged from a hole in her wall. She cawed angrily, probably because she was around an unknown person.

She flew into Miss Melon's shelves and brought her a spoon.

Miss Melon had given me the potion. it didn't taste as bad as I thought it would taste, but it still tasted bitter. My outfit had suddenly changed into a witch-like outfit. I loved the way I looked! Maybe I was meant to be a witch!

Years later, I enrolled in a Witch Academy. I had told my parents that I had enrolled in a college. Miss Melon said she had went there as well. I wanted to perfect my powers and be one of the best witches in the program. 

She most likely thought I had went to sleep. I looked at her and saw she had a dusty old book in her hand.

She told me to come over and yanked a lock of my hair. I yelped in pain. Ever since I was a baby I was extremely tender-headed.

Listen to me, and listen to me carefully. I need you to follow me right now. I'll explain everything.

I had never heard Miss Melon talk before. Any time I had said good morning to her she had only waved back. I was scared for my life. She said we would be going into her basement. This creeped me out even more.. In all the horror movies I've watched, you should never go in the basement. Well, I didn't really have a choice.

I looked around her house as she lead me into her basement. It was very dusty and had weird objects all around.
