The crows thought about it for a minute…they really wanted the seeds for themselves but the farmer’s idea just seemed so good!!! And then, their leader, an old wise, crow with a white crest on its head said, “ we will help you carry those seeds in Africa! Your cause is noble, happiness is all that matters!!! ” (48th Kindergarten, Larissa)

Dymtro had an idea, but a lot of crows, seeing the sunflower seeds, also came to the field. Dymtro started to run to the right, left, up and down to miss the crows and while running he said "don't eat, I will send more of those seeds to Africa, I want people living in poverty to plant these seeds, I want sunflowers to be happy by looking at the sun in Africa".&nbsp;(Şükran Yenigelen Cemil Şükrü Çolakoğlu Primary School -Defne Hatay Türkiye)

Soon they had arrived in Africa and let the seeds fall to the ground. The warm African sun helped the seeds to grow and become beautiful sunflowers. The people of Africa were very happy and joyful for this special gift! (8th Primary School of Ptolemaida)

A few months later  the little seeds start to grow up in the farmer’s fields. The sun, the rain and the wind helped the seeds to become a beautiful sunflower. (Kindergarten of Kentri)

Once upon a time in Ukraine there lived a farmer named Dmytro. One morning, in the beginning of April Dmytro drove his tractor to his fields. He plowed the land and planted sunflower seeds. (Dimosio Nipiagogeio Anageias, Cyprus)

The crows worried that their path was too long and how they would carry the seeds that far. The wise crow said they would seek help from other crows. He said that together they can achieve anything. (Seval Sarıca - Yenişehir Municiplatiy Kindergarten - Türkiye)

By the end of summer the seeds were ready to be collected. Dymtro drove his tractor to the field again and started collecting the seeds. (12th Veria’s kindergarten)

He was delighted to note that this time he had succeeded and collected more sacks of seeds than ever before. He immediately smiled and an amazing idea came to his mind. (2nd kindergarten Moudania Chalkidiki)

All summer long, the sunflowers grew and followed the sun on its daily journey across the sky. They were turning this way and that and smiling happily. (29o Kindergarten of Serres)

As they approached Africa, the sun was getting even warmer and the crows began to get warm and tired. It was time to ask for help and luckily they found other crows nearby. The next day, Africa began to be seen from afar… (14th Kindergarten of Chania)

So they decided to get little bags and each crow would carry one. He had to carry the little bags, closed, in his beak, so that they wouldn't fall out and they had to travel in groups but not too far from each other. They were going to cross the Mediterranean Sea to reach Africa, it was a very long journey...
