Integumentary System

What makes up the integumentary System:

The skin, hair, nails and exocrine glands

What is the function:

Regulates body temperature, cell fluid maintenance, Synthesis of Vitamin D and detection of stimuli.

Threats to the system:

Burns can be a threat and you get those from touching something hot or being in the sun.

Calluses are also a threat and you get these by working with your hands alot or being on your feet alot.

The skin contains different receptors for different kinds of responses

The skin is considered the largest organ
