We love reading in our Reading Area! We have information books to find facts about minibeasts and story books too. We loved the books by Eric Carle and and the 'Minibeast Bop!'.

We used the camera on the iPad to take photos of our own work!

We have enjoyed completing challenges to consolidate our learning both inside and outside of the classroom.

We will celebrate Easter on 4th April. Class 3 have been learning about the Easter Story and why it is special in the Christian calendar. We had lots of fun making an Easter bag and card for our family.

We hope you have enjoyed sharing our work from this term.

As part of our Understanding the World curriculum we looked at Google Earth to see an aerial view of our school. We then went outside and drew a plan of the Learning Garden and added labels to our work.

We have been reading 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' and learning about lots of different things such as the days of the week, foods which are healthy and unhealthy along with the lifecycle of a caterpillar. We have even had our own class caterpillars which we have observed each day!

We began our topic by going on a minibeast hunt of the school grounds. We loved using the magnifying glasses to look closely at the minibeasts we found.

We raised money for the charity Comic Relief by wearing an item of red.
