Class 1 hope you have enjoyed sharing our fantastic learning experiences this year! Have a lovely summer and stay safe!

Relaxing after our hard work with ice lollies, drinks and snacks.

We begun our topic with a Celebration Day. We arrived at school dressed as our favourite character from a traditional story. The special day consisted of us reading traditional stories such as Jack and the Beanstalk. making crowns for our 'Traditional Ball', building a castle and finishing the day wearing our crowns to a 'Traditional Ball' where we had food, drinks and dancing!

We enjoyed using our skills to compete in a range of different activities on Sports Day. We had lots of fun!

Our topic began whilst we were in an Isolation week. However, this did not stop of us from learning lots of information about the Olympics. We read facts with our grown ups which told us all about the Olympics from the past and present, the different sporting events which take place and we also found out information about Japan, the country which is hosting the Olympics. Have a look at some of our fantastic home learning.
