Location
There are two types of locations. Relative, and absolute location. This picture represents absolute location because it shows an exact point on where this map would be. The relative location would be “The west side of the river, a little bit past halfway between the second and third bridge”.
Place
This picture represents place because it’s a glacier, and the landforms and climate of the area around it created it. Because of the way humans are interacting with the climate in our every day lives, it is melting at a rapid pace.
Movement
This image represents movement because the CPR was the only way to get from B.C. to any other province in Canada at the time. It allowed for people, products and ideas to be transported across the country.
Regions
There are three types of regions. Formal regions, functional regions, and vernacular regions. Revelstoke falls under the category of formal regions because it’s a city based on formal government boundaries.

Human-environment Interaction
This photo represents human-environment interaction because we have modified the terrain of this area with the highway going right through the middle of the national park, so to make sure that animals don’t walk onto the road and get hit by a vehicle, we built these bridges to let them across safely.
