Crazy Characters 2018

My crazy character is named Katelen. She is a mix of a unicorn and a person. She is very nice and she likes cleaning your room, getting your computer out of your basement, turning on the tv, and waking you up in the morning. Katelen lives at the beach where she can have coconuts and swim in the water. By Taylor

Students wrote a story description of their crazy character. In the computer lab they illustrated and printed a background setting for their character using KidPix software. Then we used the Book Creator app to photograph their 3D characters on their background. Finally each student typed their story into Book Creator and recorded the audio narration. About the Dremel 3D40 Ideabuilder printer

This eBook was created by Karen Bosch and the second grade students of Mrs. Bennefield&apos;s and Mrs. Nesbitt&apos;s classes at Southfield Christian School in Southfield, Michigan USA during the winter of 2018. Students began by drawing a character in the Morphi app on our iPads and using the app to convert their drawing into 3D. The 3D files were printed on our Dremel 3D40 and 3D20 Ideabuilder printers using white filament. Students colored their printed characters with Sharpie markers.
