Background:
Ideas for the DEC23 conference had been incubating in the minds of the programming committee for some time, enabled through the culmination of a number of research projects and the establishment of the SEERLab research group at SETU.

Overall Aim:
The Digital education conference brings educators, industry and policy makers together to share and discover innovative uses of technology in an ever changing teaching and learning environment. This conference will stimulate dialogue and debate in the our education landscape as we emerge from turbulent times of COVID and ChatGPT to illuminate the transformative opportunities of education in our society. The event foundations are built on mutual trust and respect for multiple ways to learn, teach and engage with citizens as we navigate our worlds. This event provides the opportunity too present your research, extend your research network and dive into new collaborative research ideation.

This event aims to explore the pertinent research in Ireland and globally in this domain to aid navigation, so that scholars, educators and employers can thrive in a shifting higher education landscape.
