we are the planets

This is Mercury.
Planet closet to me.
It is my smallest planet .
It is a barren planet covered with craters. It looks very similar to the Earth's moon.
It has no atmosphere and rotates very slowly.

Since it is lazy to rotate, its side facing me is incredibly hot (800 degrees F), while the side away from me is super cold (-300 degrees F).

You may not walk on Mercury but, you can see it in the evening sky .

Now, Let's meet Venus.

It s my second planet. Hot and bright.
It has mountains and volcanoes. Venus is similar in size to Earth. Earth is just a little bit bigger.
It is unusual because it spins the opposite direction.
It is also lazy like Mercury and rotates so slowly that its year is shorter than its day.

Next is your very own "Earth".

Earth is the third planet from the Sun and our home planet.

Earth revolves around the Sun, but its average distance from it is 149 million kilometers / 93 million miles.

Earth revolves around the Sun once every 365.25 days – this is known as one Earth year.

In one year, Earth rotates like a spinning ball about 366.25 times – they are known as Earth days.

Earth has only one satellite – the Moon, but it also has a couple of temporal artificial satellites.

Next comes my Red Planet,Mars.

Mars is the second smallest planet in the solar system after Mercury. it’s roughly half the size of Earth.
It rotates like earth but takes twice the time to revolve.
It is home to the highest mountain in our solar system –– a volcano called Olympus Mons. 
Mars has two moons! One is called Phobos and the other Deimos.
