Meros Academy 2018Awareness:
8th grade curriculum
The Cultural Service Internship Program expanded in early 2018 a new partnership with the Center for Arts Education. The Center for Arts Education has been administering paid cultural internships through its Career Development Program since 1999 and have developed an intensive student-centered curriculum for students who may be interested in jobs in the creative center. Since its launch the Career Development Program has served more than 600 interns at 100 job sites in New York City.
During the 2018 school year, each 8th grader (150 students) from YWLA & YMLA studied the Career Development Program curriculum, along with the Cultural Service Organizations in Jacksonville, expanding the overall continuum of Cultural Service.
