Sehr geehrte Frau ....., als Kompanieführer Ihres lieben Gatten, des Gefreiten Johannes ...., habe ich heute die traurige Pflicht, Ihnen davon Kenntnis zu geben, daß unser lieber Kamerad Johannes am 7.10. infolge seiner am 4.10. erlittenen Nierenentzündung auf dem Hauptverbandsplatz gestorben ist. Er fiel somit im Kampf für die Freiheit Großdeutschlands in soldatischer Pflichterfüllung getreu seinemFahneneide für Führer, Volk und Vaterland. Zugleich im Namen seiner Kameraden spreche ich Ihnen meine wärmste Anteilnahme aus. Die Kompanie wird Ihrem Gatten stets ein ehrendes Andenken bewahren und in ihm ein Vorbild sehen. Die Gewissheit, dass Ihr Gatte für die Größe und Zukunft unseres einigen deutschen Volkes sein Leben hingab, möge Ihnen in dem schweren Leid, das Sie betroffen hat, Kraft geben und Ihnen ein Trost sein.
