Head of School Welcome
Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome to our new termly newsletter! In it you will see an overview of all the brilliant learning and experiences that have happened since September.

We hope you like the new format and we welcome any feedback about this new way of sharing what’s going on in our amazing school.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your incredible support over the last 14 weeks and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back in 2023.

I hope you all enjoy a restful, festive period with family and friends and get a chance to recharge.

Which just leaves me to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year!

Mr Lee
Head of School
Nursery
Our nursery children enjoy the free-flow of play and make the most of their outdoor area. They enjoy water play, painting, playdough and crafts, all activities supporting their learning and development.
Reception Class
Our reception children have done a fantastic job of settling in! They enjoyed bringing in their 'all about me' bags to share with their teachers and friends. This term they have enjoyed visits from Falmouth Art Gallery and the Crossing Guard to support their learning and enjoyed an autumn walk to discover the local area and autumnal changes. Also, we can't forget their amazing performance in the Christmas play!
Year 1
This term year 1 have looked at the stories Sam's Sandwich, Funny Bones and Owl Babies. The children have enjoyed learning the stories and re-writing their own versions! In maths they have been practising their addition and subtraction skills, 2D & 3D shapes and measuring skills. They have ended the term baking delicious Christmas biscuits and doing fun Christmas crafts.
