School Reopening: It’s a “back to school” like no other.

The school was reopened in a phased manner for classes IX to XII. I.L.S is committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace for all our staff and a safe learning environment for all our pupils. To ensure that, a Standard Operating Procedure was developed according to the safety guidelines issued by both CBSE and the office of QAE, Lagos State. All Covid-19 protocols and social distancing measures are strictly adhered to in the school premises. The reopening was purely based on parental consent and the classes are delivered in both face-to-face and online mode.

The temperature checks and symptom screening of the students, teachers and non-teaching staff is done prior to entering the campus. The classrooms and laboratories are regularly sanitised.
Arrangements such as well-equipped isolation room, a trained nurse to help in emergency situations, on-call doctor have also been made.
In a feedback taken from the students they said that they found face-to-face classed more beneficial and productive as ignited curiosity and enthusiasm.
