Ayurveda Day was celebrated on 2nd November this year. Every year, Ayurveda day is observed on Dhanwantri Jayanti with the aim of creating awareness in today's generation on the power of Ayurveda and promoting the principles of Ayurveda on healing. It holds recognition as traditional medicine system by World Health Organization (WHO). Indian Language School celebrated Ayurveda Day by inviting Dr. Ramandeep Kaur, an Ayurvedic practitioner, to enrich the students with her wisdom of words about the different aspects of Ayurveda in an interactive session. She very effectively laid emphasis on the introduction to Ayurveda, its objectives, the five elements, doshas and the pillars of good health.
