Celebrating Excellence: Our Honourable Principal's Appointment to CBSE Training Advisory Committee

Mrs. Sonali Gupta’s selection by the CBSE Training Unit to be a part of the CBSE Training Advisory Committee for all CBSE schools for the year 2024-25 underscores her commitment to excellence and innovation in educational leadership.

As a prominent figure in our school community, our Respected Principal has consistently demonstrated visionary leadership, unwavering dedication to student success, and a passion for continuous improvement. Her role will be to plan for the training of teachers, organize online training sessions, and plan school-level activities for all CBSE schools. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Mrs. Gupta on this well-deserved honour. Her appointment to the CBSE Training Advisory Committee is a source of great pride for our school community. We also express our gratitude for her tireless efforts and relentless commitment to the success and well-being of our students and staff.

Empowering Educators: Continuous Professional Development Training on Inclusive Education

Teachers play a key role in curriculum implementation and it is vital that they be imparted training on how- to include students with special needs in their classrooms.

A three-day session was organized to sensitize the teachers on how to create inclusive classrooms and deal effectively with children with special needs. They were also counselled on the importance of building positive relationships with parents.

The programme was designed to equip educators with the knowledge, skills, and strategies needed to create inclusive learning environments that celebrate diversity and support the needs of all students.

In-House Team Selection for NCF: Unveiling Tomorrow's Chess Champions

The NCF (National Chess Foundation) was founded with a vision to harness the intellectual and strategic potential the youths.

The National School Team Chess Championship 2024 organised by NCF was held on May 24th and 25th 2024 at Pan African Centre, VI, Lagos. We at I.L.S organized an Inhouse Chess team selection for the students on Wednesday 20th March, 2024 in the school premises for Primary and Secondary categories, to represent the above-mentioned tournament.

I.L.S aligns with the aim of NCF to provide opportunities for players of all ages and backgrounds to engage in the game, develop their skills, and compete at local, national, and international levels.
