This is my reflection on the science experiment I carried out to test how fast different-sized pieces of jelly dissolve in hot water.

My Science Experiment

We poured hot water into three plastic jugs evenly (water from the kettle had been left to cool down). We then added a piece of jelly into each jug.

We found that the smallest piece of jelly dissolved quicker than the two larger pieces. 

One person in the group kept track of the time and another person kept a record of when exactly each piece of jelly had fully dissolved.

The experiment tested how long it takes to dissolve jelly in boiling water, experimenting with three different sized pieces of jelly for comparison.

We worked as a group of four for this experiment. We first cut the jelly into three different sizes.

We wrote down our predictions beforehand, our results and the findings gathered on this sheet.
