There are several characters in this book. We are going to tell you three of our favorites.
Three of our favorite characters: Yulian, Barbara (Mother), and Mr. Vosokos.
Barbara Padowics
Barbara and Lolek are a wealthy family, they own their own factory "Lolek`s Factories." In the first part of the book Yulian and his mother did not spend time with each other because Yulian had a nanny that did everything for him. Toward the end of the book the nanny left and Yulian and his mother spent more time with each other. She is smart and very educated.

Yulian Padowicz
Yulian is a brave 7 year old Jewish boy. He has been taught by his nanny Kiki that little soldier boys don't cry. He is more mature than a regular 7 year old boy.

Mr. Vosokos
Mr. Vosokos is a green police. He seems rather crabby doing his job but mother tries to get him to talk. She tries to bribe him with her jewels but he still needs to report her and Yulian.
