He was born in Farmington in 1858.He had huge ears that couldn't stand the cold.He folded wire into two hoops. His ear muffs were made out of velvet and beaver.Kids and adults bought some of their own.Chester got a Patent so no one could steal his idea.His factory made 400,000,000 ear muffs.

Mary was born in Alabama.In 1903,she took a winter trip to New York City.She sketched an idea and the windshield wiper was born.The windshield wipers were hard to use because you pulled and pushed a leaver.
