Once upon time There lived very little and smart panda in China .She was very sad and her name was A Smart Panda She always feels sad becouse they lived in the cage with her family but Smart Panda wants to play with his friends in the forest .They want to breathe fresh air to eat fresh and tasty bamboo .One day she decides to leave from the cage and she can She flew to the Azaerbaijan by plane When she arrived in airport in Azerbaijan She met one Gazzely he was very upset too.A Smart Panda asked to him Why you look very boried ? He answered I lost my family becouse many people destroyed our forest and my famliy died without plants and water .We need plants and water to live .Smart Panda ohh I felt so upset too dear gazzely let's go to Turkey may be we will find the best place for you to live .

After a long journey,our Smart Panda and his friend Gazelle came to İstanbul,Turkey. They both learned that this province is called Küçükçekmece.They found themselves near a lake which is called Küçükçekmece Lake. An Otter welcomed them. They saw that she tried to find food for her breakfast. She looked very sad and hungry. Smart Panda asked her why she looked so sad. She answered she couldnt find food because the lake was very dirty.
” Here is many people throw their rubbish to the lake and they also pollute the small water sources which flow to the lake.”
After hearing it, Smart Panda and Gazelle offered to the Otter:
”Let’s look another place in Turkey, maybe we can find better place to live for all of us.”

After a long train journey and traffic, smart panda and his friends gazelle and otter came to Tuzla/ Tepeören district. First, the green of Tepeören charmed the smart panda and his friends.They thought that they could live here. While they were seeking food and shelter, they met with a shepherd dog.

“Hi. I’m smart panda. And this is my friend,smart gazelle and otter. We came from China and Azerbaijan. And now we are in Turkey. The reason we come here is the environmental problems in other countries.We couldn’t find food and shelter.But I like this town more than other countries. What do you think?”

“It’s a beautiful place in terms of green but we can’t breathe due to air pollution. There are many factories here. Air pollution is affecting our lungs badly.” Said Shepherd Dog. The smart panda and his friends disappointed because of this news. So, he started to think of what to do now. He and his friends walked in the streets of Tuzla.

“When they arrived at Tuzla,first of all they recognized that it was a quiet place. After then, Smart Panda ,Shepherd dog, Otter and Gazelle saw a seaside and decided to go there .While they were walking to seaside, they saw some garbage around .There were also some Municipality Garbage Collectors and they were picking up the garbage. That increased their expectation of living here.
When they arrived at the seaside, there was a seagull looking at the sea. And like the shepherd dog, they asked some questions to the seagull. “We couldn’t find food and shelter but we like this place more than other places” “Are there shelters and food? “The seagull told that there are enough shelters but the sea is dirty. Gazelle started to get hungry and Smart Panda and Otter saw a lot fishermen fishing near sea. Panda heard a stomach growl sound of Gazelle and said “I think you are very hungry”. Gazelle nodded. They walked to the sea and tried to catch a fish. They saw a plastic bottle .It went worse. They saw a lot of garbage again. People should throw these things to the trash cans” said Gazelle. They caught a fish and ate while walking around Tuzla. Gazelle, Otter and Panda saw a beautiful park and decided to rest there. They lay under a tree. Smart Panda started coughing. It was because of air pollution. They felt uncomfortable and they went to other side of Tuzla. Unfortunately, the streets were very dirty there. Panda and Gazelle decided to design a poster about how to keep Tuzla clean .However, this didn’t solve the problem. Seagull asked them if she could join them. They said it would be great. Then, Panda, Otter, Gazelle ,Shepherd dog and Seagull set out for Bursa for better life. (Evliya Çelebi Secondary School,Tuzla)

Smart Panda, Gazelle, Otter, Shepherd Dog, Seagull reached Yeşil Bursa. They wondered about Uludag, which is surrounded by greenery. They went to Uludag. A sign in Uludag national park caught their attention. It was written on this sign that there were many endemic species in Uludağ. They encountered the Apollo butterfly among this endemic species. Apollo butterfly took Smart Panda and his friends to Uludag for a tour. They thought it was very suitable for living with different kinds of trees, water sources, green areas. They were delighted to be able to meet their shelter and food needs.
They saw the buildings in this greenery. The otter Apollo asked the butterfly.
-“What were these buildings built for?”
Apollo butterfly:
- ‘These buildings are hotels built for winter tourism. Our living space is being destroyed by the large number of hotels and throwing the wastes of the hotels into the environment. The forests are being destroyed.' He replied.
Apollo Butterfly, who said, "Look, there are picnic areas open to the use of people here. Our environment is getting polluted with the creation of picnic areas and people leaving their trash in nature."
They were startled by a loud noise. They noticed that the Gazelle was being fired towards. The friends, who did not understand what was happening in fear, immediately got on the cable car and left. Explaining that the number of creatures living here has decreased due to poaching, collecting and destruction of their habitats, Apollo butterfly said that life here is difficult.
Smart Panda and his friends, who were very happy when they came to Uludağ, decided to look for another place in Bursa with the Apollo Butterfly in disappointment.

While leaving Uludağ, Smart Panda and his friends come to a stream to drink water. They come across a trout in the creek.
Seagull:
-This stream is very clean. How beautiful.' He said.
 Trout:
- 'The name of this running water is Nilüfer Stream. Nilüfer Stream becomes quite polluted as it moves from Uludağ towards Bursa Plain. This tea is very clean at the foot of Uludağ compared to the plain.' He said.
The shepherd's dog asked the trout, "Why does the Nilüfer Stream become polluted when passing through the Bursa Plain?"
Trout in an angry tone
Industrial wastes, domestic wastes are left in the tea. Treatment facilities are not used. People's unconscious harm to the environment pollutes the Nilüfer Stream as well as polluting many natural areas.
Smart Panda and his friends, realizing that they cannot live in Nilüfer Stream and its surroundings, take the trout with them and go on a journey to find another living space for themselves in Bursa.
