Remember: your day might be shorter when you first start big school. You might just stay for the morning, or just come for the afternoon at first.
What do I need to wear to school?
When you start Reception, you will need to wear a super smart uniform.
You will need:
A blue jumper
A blue shirt
A school tie (ideally elasticated)
A grey skirt or trousers or dress
Grey, blue or white socks/tights
Black school shoes
Please make sure everything is named.
P.E. Kit
You will need a P.E. kit from the Spring term onwards. You will need:
a bag (which should be a draw-string bag)
A St John's hoody
Plain navy joggers or shorts, 
Pale blue t-shirt/polo
Black trainers
What do I need to bring to school?
You will need to bring your book bag to school every day. You can keep it in your drawer. You will be given 3 reading books. A phonics book, an Oxford Reading Tree book and a 'bed time' book. You can read these books at school and at home.
You will also need to bring a water bottle to school every day. Please make sure your name is clearly labelled on your water bottle. You will need to take your water bottle home, wash it and refill it with fresh water every day.
