How Did Christianity Spread in the Roman Empire?
Christianity spread quickly through the Roman Empire and having christianity receiving a legal status means that Christians could finally openly practice their religion be without being criticized by the Roman Authority because they strongly disagreed in christianity.
Peter and Paul spread christianity from the early ages by traveling long journeys and spreading their beliefs to others.
How did Christianity change the Roman Empire?
In christianity people believe multiple Gods while in Rome they only worship one God so christianity showed that believing more than one God is not wrong.
Constantine was an emperor from 312 AD to 337 AD and he had major impacts to the perspective of Christianity. The emperors Trajan, Decius, and Diocletian strongly disagreed with christianity and even tried to execute all of the christians. But when Constantine came to power he supported the belief of christianity and even helped donate money to the construction of more christian churches.
Why would an emperor use a belief to help them govern?
An emperor may use christianity because this beliefs is like a moral code. It tells people to be nice to their neighbors which help people gain trust in one another and builds a strong relationship for each other.
