"Climate change is not something that’s going to happen in the future, it already is happening and we're witnessing the consequences." -Sergio Villegas
What is the Monteverde Cloud Forest of Costa Rica
I chose the Monteverde Cloud Forest of Costa Rica. I chose it because it has over 755 different species of trees, about 3,000 species of plants, lush vegetation surrounded by mist, and a long history leading back to when the quakers first founded it.
However, climate change and deforestation are putting rainforests in danger. I truly believe that the Monteverde cloud forest of Costa Rica is a beautiful place, but it faces grave danger as do all rainforests on this earth and it is our jobs to help them all.
