WHERE IS COIMBRA ?

HOW IS TO LIVE IN COIMBRA ?

Coimbra is known for being a historical city, being one of the oldest but full of youth. It offers an incredible experience to study.

Coimbra is located in the heart of Portugal (center), 204 km from the capital (Lisbon). It was the second capital of Portugal and is one of the most important due to its history.

Living in Coimbra has many advantages, since it is a historical city, where the oldest University of the country is located, and with many cultural attractions. In the numerous restaurants you can taste the many typical Portuguese dishes and the city's traditional sweets.

If you prefer some outdoor activities, you can enjoy the various spaces that exist in the city, such as Parque Verde, Choupal, Jardim da Sereia, etc...

If you like love stories, come and see the story of Pedro and Inês, which is about impossible love.

The whole city revolves around the academic tradition and student festivals.

WHERE WE ARE ?

The Beira Aguieira Professional School, EBA - Formação Profissional, constituted in 1990.

WHAT IS OUR AIM ?

The main objective of EBA lies in the implementation of innovative actions, which aim to strengthen the quality of the Educational Project and give a renewed dynamic to the Institution.

PROJECT

The Educational Project represents the builder of autonomy, drawing the proper face of each School. This establishes reference standards for the life of the School, for its initiatives, projects, activities and actions; it is the source of motivation for the different elements of the Educational Community.

Kitchen/Pastry Technician

Health Care Assistant Technician

Restaurant and Bar Technician

Masters the rules of hygiene and food safety, directs the kitchen work, prepares and cooks meals, including regional Portuguese and international gastronomy.

Computer Systems Programming and Management Technician

Assists in the provision of health care to users in cleaning, collection of biological samples, sanitation of clothing, space, materials and equipment and in logistical and administrative support of the different units and health services.

Masters the standards of hygiene, food safety, directs the service of food and beverages at the table and counter.

Able to design, implement, evaluate, support and maintain computer and technological systems for processing and transmitting data and information.

WHAT DO WE DO ?

TOURISM TECHNICIAN

E.B.A Vet School is a training center active in vocational training at the international level with many years of experience. since the beginning of our school we have given great importance to the fact of working with erasmus+ projects, mobility of students, teachers and staff. Our way of giving ourselves and valuing inclusivity and sustainability, and not only, has given us the Erasmus+ 2021-2027 credit. We have more than 100 partners, the majority of which are schools, companies, and clinics in various professional and the best fields.

Several qualifications able to perform independently or in a team information services, animation and organization of events in tourism companies, travel agency reservations, recession and reception in hotels and tourist accommodation.

We are specialized in the organization and coordination of EU-funded mobility (not just sending but also receiving:

•Training courses for students, teachers and staff;
•Job shadowing projects;
•Internships;

We also organize the entire visit, from the arrival to the departure.
We organize:

• Pick up from the airport;
• The whole stay included three meals per day;
• Accommodation in a hotel / apartment;
• Translator if needed;
• Transportation within the city;
• City guide, sightseeing;
