What is Digital Drawing?

According to www.autodesk.com Digital drawing is when a drawing is created using graphics software. Instead of using a pencil and paper, digital artists draw with a tablet or a computer, along with a device such as a mouse or a stylus.

What is Medibang Paint?

According to Google Play Store, MediBang Paint is a FREE lightweight digital painting and comic creation program that comes loaded with brushes, fonts, pre-made backgrounds, and other resources. MediBang Paint is available on Windows, Mac OS X, Android, and iOS. The app uses cloud saving allowing users to easily transfer their work between platforms.

The Android version allows illustrators to draw anywhere they want while retaining all of the features of the desktop versions of the software.
Week 4 - Hands on Activity 1: Short Story Book Cover

Procedures:
1. Draw your own short story book cover in a short bond paper.
2. Open MediBang Paint on your smartphone. Create a letter-size canvas (A4 size, resolution 300)
3. Take a photo of your drawing and insert it into your Medibang Paint application.
4. Using a brush tool, put appropriate colors on your book cover.
5. Create a separate layer for each part.
6. Rename the layers according to the parts of the body (ex. background etc.)
7. Save your work as Activity4YourFullName (Ex. Activity4MaRemalyneCruz)
8. Send the screenshots in my FB messenger or print your final output in a short bond paper.
Step 1: Draw your own short story book cover in a short bond paper. 
Create your own title for your short story.

Draw your book cover in a bond paper before proceeding to the digitization process.
Step 2: Open MediBang Paint on your smartphone / tablet. Create a letter-size canvas (A4 size, dpi resolution 300)
- Click Medibang Paint
- Click New Canvas
- Click Edit
- Make sure to change dpi into 300
- Click Paper Size
- Choose A4 size
- Click Ok button
- Click Create
