Geography
At the Middle Colonies, we have nice mild winters, a great season for a cozy fire and you can have a wonderful time with friends and family in the snow. We also have hot and humid summers, great for taking a swim. Here in the middle colonies, we have long growing seasons and good soil, we have copper, iron, and deep harbors as well.

More reasons why you should live in the Middle Colonies
It’s easier to get jobs in the Middle Colonies and of more variety, due to the good, fertile soil and good weather, the Middle colonies are able to increase trade on crops that the other colonies couldn’t produce. Known as “Bread Basket” for being able to grow so much food.

Why you shouldn’t live at the New England Colonies and the Southern Colonies

England Colonies
Some of the problems were unintentionally caused be the colonists, like smallpox and other diseases that the English settlers had unwittingly brought over onto their ships. Although, the colonists suffered form these diseases of their one early on, they were largely immune to the microbes they brought to the New World.

Southern Colonies
Who would want to live somewhere where people aren’t able to grow good crops to sell to poor, rocky soil and cold weather. The southern region has the longest growing seasons, so lots of different cash crops can e grown. It’s also very warm in the Southern Colonies, so diseases can spread quickly.
